Ordu: Final Destination of Manager Trainings

Within the scope of ADAPTESK Project, Manager Training, organized for business membership organisations’ managers in project’s pilot provinces, was held in Ordu as the final destination.

The training was delivered on 7-8 January 2017 with the participation of 85 managers coming from Ordu and its towns.

First day of the training started with the speech of Ordu Tradesmen and Craftsmen Chambers’ Union President Mr. Aydın Bostancıoğlu. Mr. Bostancıoğlu thanked the presidents for their participation and touched upon the importance of trainings by stating ‘we need to provide participation of our tradesmen and craftsmen to the project trainings.’  Following Mr. Aydın, Project Coordinator of TESK EU and Foreign Relations Department Mr. Fuat Elvan delivered a speech.

On the first day, Mr. Cem Küçüktepepınar presented “Basic Communication Skills” and continued with “Presentation Techniques” and “Problem Solving Skills”. The training was finalized with ‘Leadership skills for Tradesmen and Craftsmen Managers’ and ‘Good Management Skills’.

On the second day of the training, Project Trainer Mr. İzzet Çevik delivered a presentation on the standing of tradesmen and craftsmen in the national economy and their role in vocation training, followed by vocational and employability topics. Following the lunch break, Mr. Çevik touched upon the needs of tradesmen and craftsmen for change and transformation and the responsibilities of business membership organisations’ managers.

“Managers Training” program will be organized on 19-20 January 2017 in Gaziantep.
